Flor makes a great point here.
when something like this happens, I never assume that something is wrong
on my end until I can confirm that what isn't working isn't working
generally not just one place at one time.
Secondly, reboots, automated checkdisks, hitting the wrong key at the
wrong time, something closing and then reopening can and will sometimes
correct performance oddities.
And, at least for me, I hit more wrong or unintended keys or combos more
often than I might realize.
Just be happy things are working as they should.
One thing is guaranteed if you use your pc long enough: something else
will, at some point and at some time, not work right again.
