There used to be a free text-to--braille transcription service at
www.hotbraille.com,
[At present, 'under construction']
which is the one Susi was thinking of.
This applied to reasonably short documents, and was mainly done in American
braille.
Now, we have
www.robobraille.org
- a European-Union aided multilingual service
from Denmark, which also offers transcriptions into british braille.
The free WinTrans braille translation program, which was referred to
subsequently, can be downloaded from
www.wintrans-bt.org
The latter two programs can produce embosser-ready braille files.
