Yep... as long as the old file system isn't encrypted, in which case you
will not be able to view any files on it until after re-formatting the
drive, and adding some files to it. [and possibly removing and adding
back the main partition with partitioning software, I'm not sure about
this part, as I've never encrypted a drive before.]
