One answer may lie in cooking. ("Oh, no, here we go again", they're
saying.) Cooking changes the nature of fat and protein, making it
much more attractive, as in "addictive". It removes the natural
"stop" that tells you you have had enough, literally, of a food. Some
things are SO attractive it's really hard not to jam it all in your
mouth. One of them for me is roast chicken, or scrambled eggs.
But if I eat the meat raw, a little bit seems to satisfy, and I don't
want to make a production of it, just get on with the day. Barring
that solution, you're just going to have to fight it:)
