I was always given a wad of gauze to bite against the hole. I'm one of
those whose teeth never hurt much, no matter how hard the dentist had to
fight to pull it.
Willow bark tea, or if not available, aspirin?
William
OHHHHHH, William!!! YES, the dentist DID say to wet a tea bag (didn't specify willow bark, but yeah, that does have anti-pain properties) and bite down on it!! I was in so much pain I couldn't think/remember!! I did do the gauze for the bleeding yesterday, but it didn't do anything for the pain. They told me not to take aspirin because it would thin my blood and make it bleed longer, but I did finally bite the bullet and take some ibuprofen. The pain is manageable today, but I think I'll go find my willow bark and see what happens!! Thanks, sweetie!! (And you're amongst the lucky ones...no pain!!)
Love,
Bren
