It may look more difficult than it really is.   Just sign up at the NLS site 
and after they verify that you are a patron in good standing, they will 
e-mail you a one time password.   Use that to get back into the site and 
tell them what player you are using.  NLS contacts Humanware, who sends you 
an e-mail with a link to go to.   At that site, enter the serial number of 
your Stream and they will e-mail you a unlock key to put into the stream. 
It may take 2 days for all the back and forth e-mails, but it's well worth 
the few minutes of time it will take you.
