Bill,

I really wouldn't worry about it.  It's more a matter of whether or not 
you feel comfortable participating in a net with spiritual content.

Several years ago there was a 2 meter net every Sunday morning in the 
San Francisco bay area which started out with a prayer.  It was quite 
popular at the time and no one ever really objected except the usual 
jammers who seem to object to anything other people like.

Anyway, it's just like anything else.  If you feel you want to 
participate then do so.  If you don't, then look around a bit.
