Hi all,
I have 2 questions.
1. I'm running jaws for windows 10.0, on a windows xp pro laptop, a gateway nx100.
My question is this. When I press insert f12, to hear the time, jaws doesn't speak it. How do I fix this? Someone walk me through step by step.
Secondly. I have a friend that has a laptop, running windows xp pro, and jaws for windows 9.0. Hear's the problem he has. He wants jaws to start automatically, so, he set up jaws to do that, but when it starts automatically when his computer starts, his arrow keys don't work on his desktop at all. All it says is "top of window", or, "bottom of window". So, what he did then was, went back into the jaws basics settings and unchecked start automatically when my computer starts, then shut down jaws and launched it with his hot key and all the arrow keys move perfectly.
What is going on, and how does he fix this? Walk me through step by step on this one, too.
thanks,
I don't want to see him have to give up this laptop.
Harry
