Hi everyone,
A couple of weeks ago I asked for your help with resources for the blind in
Columbus Ohio. Many of you responded with excellent suggestions and
contacts. Again, I thank you all for that.

Now, I am asking again for your help with a similar situation. A friend
who is blind will be relocating to Pasadena California. This time in
addition to the blindness issue there is another complicating component.
There is an adult family member who is a wheelchair user with extensive
disabilities.
So in addition to resources and services for the blind in that area it
would be helpful to know of any personal assistance services for people with
disabilities, grocery stores that deliver, disability discounts on mass
transit, recreational opportunities, or other miscellaneous groups or
programs open to people who are blind or physically disabled.

Thank you,
Stewart
