I must disagree.  I'm 6' 4" tall, and recently dieted down to 180 lbs.  I  
was very lean -- so much so that some of my body's systems started  
shutting down on me.  I purposely forced a rapid weight gain (back to  
195), and now all is well again.  For me, 180 lbs is not natural.  And I  
don't think I'm particularly unusual.
