I am interested in finding out about interpretation of the tTG IgA antibody test results. I have been gluten free for over a year and my level has stayed at 46. I don't have an accurate result from when I was originally diagnosed in July 2007 (Lab did not do the right antibody tests but I was positive by duodenal biopsy). In May of this year, and again last week my test shows 46. I try very hard to stay gluten free, eat at home, cook my own food, watch labels and ingredients and absolutely no cheating on the diet. I just got sick of getting sick from going out so only go where there are gluten free menus and only about twice in the last two months.

I was wondering how long this takes to go down once someone is on a gluten free diet.

I was also wondering about the range of values for this test for people with Celiac disease.

Have others seen changes in their results?

Is the goal to get to less than 20 (negative result)?

I will summarize the results.

Thanks!
