I recently tried the Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookie mix and found
it to be very delicious (and I am so grateful to the BC folks for
offering these wonderful gf mixes!)
That said, I don't think it is quite as divine as the recipe I found
years ago on the Wild Oats Market web site when the Wild Oats Market was
still it's own entity. I see someone has posted the recipe online again
and it's definitely worth checking out:

The recipe calls for cinnamon and I made them the first time with the
cinnamon and since have decided I like them better without. You decide.
I also cut the butter back a tablespoon or two and I think it still
makes an excellent, rich cookie. The flours (brown rice, soy) in this
recipe also may be a little more nutritious than the Betty Crocker
cookie mix--if one cares about those things when you're eating cookies.
If I could only have two of my favorite gluten-free recipes, this would
be one of them!
Enjoy!
