Chef to Plate - Celebrating Restaurants Serving up Gluten-Free Awareness
This is a national awareness campaign for gluten-free living through the
restaurants that support persons living with gluten intolerances.
Sponsored by the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America (R)
YOU ARE INVITED:
Partner with the Gluten Intolerance Group of NA in the "Chef to Plate -
Celebrating Restaurants Serving Up Gluten-Free Awareness" an international
awareness campaign.
THE PURPOSE:
The purpose of this campaign is to spread awareness of celiac disease and
gluten intolerances through restaurants that currently provide gluten-free
offerings. It is not about the promotion of any specific restaurant
program, but bringing awareness to the public.
OUR SUCCESS IN 2009:
This awareness campaign was a big success in 2009. Through our partnership
with several organizations:
Over 5000 pieces of literature were sent out, 196 restaurants, including
several major chains, were involved.
This campaign spread throughout the United States and Canada.
More than 1.6 million people were reached!
Lists of restaurants with gluten free menus were posted on several
websites.
GET INVOLVED:
Help us make this year's campaign an even bigger success! Consider
becoming a partner with GIG for this campaign.
PARTNER SOON:
If you partner with us by Feb 1, 2010:
National groups: Your logo will be posted on all printed materials for
the campaign.
Local groups: Your name will be featured on printed materials for the
campaign.
We hope that you are as excited about this 2010 campaign as so many others
are, and that you will want to be part of its success.
Sincerely,
Chef to Plate Campaign Coordinators:
Rebecca Powell, Campaign Manager
