Hi Guys,
Before I was licensed, I was visiting to man that got me infested with ham 
radio.  He had a Kenwood TS520 and he had it tuned to the CW portion of the 
band.  We were talking and all of a sudden Cappy started laughing.  I asked, 
what is funny.  He waved at the radio and said it was something said on the 
radio.

He was mostly a CW operator and told me that his opinion of 2 meters was a 
back yard telephone.
