Kevin,

You won't be able to do Echolink with a Braillenote because the Echolink 
software won't run on any version of Windows CE, and that's what the BN uses 
for its operating system.  Incidentally, you'll get full fidelity out of 
anything you stream if you hook up a good pair of headphones.
