Hey All,
Well we went through everyone's suggestions.
Running Check Disk, I also added a Full Virus check. (Jacob S)
I replaced all the SATA cables and checked power cables They were
correct also! (Don P)
The Winner!! One of Peter E suggesting Link How To Hide Hard Drives And
Partitions In Windows
http://www.ghacks.net/2010/11/06/how-to-hide-hard-drives-and-partitions-in-windows/
Finally figured out it had to be a Windows update was the culprit in
hiding my games drive while on the Internet side.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this.
Thanks!!
“I dual boot. Both boot Win7 Home Premium 64 bit a storage drive NO OS.
The first drive is called Internet. The second is Games.
The first one is a WD Blue 1 tb.
The Second is a WD Black 1 tb.
Both drives have been working fine for a while now and all of a sudden
Whamo! I boot into the Internet side and can't access the Games drive. I
also run a sync program from the internet drive to the Games drive. It
is not working also, go figure. All the drives are fine hardware wise
checked them all out. Smart says all are healthy. They are all new just
in the past two months or so. My Internet drive does NOT see the Games
drive. Now what is weird is, you see it if you go into the device
manager and populate the drives! But it is not shown in Windows explorer
or my file manager (XYPlorer).
Before this happened you would see if on the internet side. C = internet
drive, d = games drive, E = Storage drive.”
Also in device manager all drives are shown and correct!
