I remember my *very* first home computer where my programs were stored on
cassette tapes.  To run a routine, I had to wind the tape to the exact
location using the counter (which was wildly inaccurate) and run the math
function  which was written in BASIC.

Now THAT was fun! ;)

My wife, Lin, trained as a punch-card data entry clerk, although she gave up

work 29 years ago, I think she may need retraining if she wanted to go back 
to work now.

My first program was on paper tape using Dartford BASIC.
