For digital TV and stuff, I'd try to use RG-6quad shield where I can. 
Between VCR's and TV's it's not a big deal though I still do. You can get 
away with the RG-59 and what ever in the house, but I wouldn't personally 
add any. That RG6QS is very low loss and great for the digital cable 
signals. Not that we have problems with the RG-59, but the cable companies 
don't touch it anymore.
