Believe it or not, there are sighted people who think blind people don't 
have TVs, VCRs or DVDs because they can't watch the video.  I always have to 
explain that when I use the word "watch," I'm using it as a generic term.

The blind organizations like NFB and ACB didn't work hard enough to insist 
on accessible video for the blind.  The deaf have close-captions but the 
blind have almost no voice-over or video description.
