Speaking of Braillers seizing up, I seem to have that happen to me every 
few years, even if I cover the machines when I'm not using them to prevent 
unnecessary dust and other stuff from getting in there.

If things get too bad, I have to send the things away to Perkins to get 
re-conditioned, but I've always wondered if someone has a quick fix for the 
seizing up problem that I could try and therefore could avoid having to pay 
to get the Perkins folks to fix them.

The funny thing is that there's seldom anything mechanically wrong with the 
machines;  they just seize up after a few years of use, and I've had it 
happen on all three of the Braillers I own and use.
