Yes, you should be able to do that, but you ned a fairly good computer
for that. I have an old laptop that runs dos and I compiled the gwbasic
program so it runs a bit quicker. I hav eall kinds of key commands
built in. for example, if I want to keep checkking a reading, in the
keyboard mode, you have to keep typing the command, in this case
mtr1?
I have a function key defined that takes me to a subroutine that asks me
how often I want the reading, how many seconds. After I enter say 3
seconds, the program sends this command to my service monitor every
three seconds so I can get a hands off reading.
