Those articles are nice and they sound really good...but mostly, they are written to make people feel good about not aligning themselves with what 'Thus sayeth the Lord.' Yes, we have a duty to help save the lost, tell everyone about Jesus, spread the Gospel, feed the poor, heal the sick, pay our taxes, pray for our leaders (how many of you actually do that?). The real question, and it is a simple one, is this: Am I for what God is for and am I against what God is against, as written in the Scriptures? Not as some 'modern theologians' interpret it...what does it say? I heard a quote yesterday and the author says that in many instances, people "read what they believe" rather than "believe what they read." If you are not aligned with God, with whom are you aligned?
