OS is Windows XP Home Edition
I would like to look at the contents of the Windows XP Restore log
(Windows\system32\restore). From what I understand it may look like
gibberish, but, nonetheless, I'd like to take a peek. What I'm
interested in is if in fact it is "empty", i.e., cleaned out, in order
to start afresh rather than having some residue from the past.
What program(s) would you suggest I use to OPEN this .dat file?
Something as simply as notepad?
Or perhaps I should ask this question: what is a sure fire way of
emptying the various restore points that have accumulated over the
months or so? Any suggestions/criticisms welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
