Goto Administrative Management then
Computer Management Then
Disk Management. Highlight the drive and right click on the D partition and
delete it.
Now you right click on the C Partition and reclaim unused space.
I dont know on the last sentence if that is just in XP Pro or not as I could
not get to that on my XP Home machine however I do not have any free space
hanging unclaimed out there.
If you cant perform the operation in the last sentence then you will have to
purchase Partition manager
to complete.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Move Unused Space from D Drive to C Drive+
Thanks Dave but I don't think you finished answering my question or I did
not
state it correctly. I have already backed up all the data on my D Drive to
a
CD. Most all of my programs are on the C Drive.
I have about 56G of unused space on my D drive. I only have 900MG unused
space left on my C Drive. Both drives are on one physical disk. I want to
move
35G of the unused space on the D drive to the C drive.
Thanks
Bill Oates
