Angel,

Though you arebdoing what you have to do, I can't imagine how it hurts you as a Mom. I pray God's strength and comfort for you. Also praying God will wor in your son's life.

Subject: A prayr request:

Please would you all pray for me.  Due to circumstances I will be forced to tell my 18 year old son he will no longer be welcome in my home.  He has stolen things from me and from my land lord who lives upstairs, or so my land lord says.  I told him he could not live at home when my land lord told me he would raise my rent by 100 dollars if he stayed.  I can not afford this increase.  My land lord said my son could go to work and pay me the extra 100 dollars and continue to live with me.  This was before my son tried to break in to my house.  I suspect he broke in before he was caught last week.  My land lord said my son took an expensive video camera, and, when he was working on my house he said he found it on my son's dresser.  My son was put in jail last Saturday because I filed criminal trespass charges against him.  I just couldn't allow him to walk away after my land lord caught him trying to break in to my house.  Now, my land lord won't let him remain or come back to the house at all.  He will be released
Monday.  I am visiting him Sunday, and must tell him this.  I am very depressed because I will find it difficult to do this.  He can go to a homeless shelter and avail himself of all sorts of programs.  He can even get his GED if he wants.  If he does this he could stay 6 months.  If he enrolls in a bible study program he can stay 15 months I am told.  Space is limited and I was told there were 8 beds 3 weeks ago.  I was told last week there were only 2 beds.  Now winter is upon us there will surely be fewer beds available.  I am so upset because I am constantly worried over where he will sleep and how he will live.  He steals from me, and I do deserve, as does my land lord who is no relation to either of us to live in a safe environment.  He has friends whose parents keep them and they are past 18, so, he feels I ought to as well I suppose.  Please pray for us both.  I must tell him he can not return to the house.  I only hope he will go to this shelter and will find a place.  His character is so shallow.  I keep asking myself what I did wrong and I can't find where I failed.  He blames everyone else but himself for his circumstances.  I have tried enrolling him in all sorts of programs to enable him to get his GED but he has dropped out of them all.  He has no job.  Please ppray.
