"Longwood Gardens is near Kennett Square, PA and there's a wonderful 
restaurant called Talula's Table that is very knowledgeable about gluten 
(one of their workers has celiac) and the last time I was there I had 
about 12-15
different choices of items for lunch. Food is excellent and they have a 
  wonderful deli! They may only serve lunch.  Halfmoon Saloon is also in 
Kennett Square and they are also very  willing
to accommodate and the food is good."

"There is a PF Chang's China Bistro (gf menu) less than 30 minutes from 
Longwood in the Shops at Britton Lake. There is also a Ruby's diner in 
this shoppping center and they have awesome cheeseburger salads. This is 
a very nice and new shopping area."

"There is also a Bone Fish Grill and a Japanese spot Teikoku Restaurant 
in WestChester which both have gluten free menu's. These are a bit further."

"There is a gluten free bakery/cafe about 5 minutes from there.  The 
name is Sweet Christine's Bakery in Kennett Square."

"I visited Longwood Gardens in June and I stayed at the Concordville 
Inn, a Best Western, in Concordville, PA.This is less than 10 minutes 
from the Gardens and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I ate 
my dinner at the restaurant that is on the grounds of the hotel. They 
were very helpful.
