Hi, everyone.
Every once in a while, when reading an e-mail message, I'll see
something like the following:

<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns =
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />

Can anyone tell me what this is exactly and/or what causes it to be
written into an e-mail? I notice it mainly with certain people only,
so I'm assuming there's some setting or other on their machines or
e-mail programs that is producing it.

Thanks for your thoughts.
Rachel
