I am not a Vista user but have used ZoomText for years. Some of what 
I've learned: Becky, ZoomText does not work well with Java and many 
times will cause your pc to freeze while surfing the web. I got around 
this by deactivating Java so that it only comes up as needed. You want 
to clear out your browser temp folders and cache regularly.

Nan, Like I said, I am not a Vista user so this may not help. Keep 
talking with tech support. I have this problem also and I use XP. On 
instal, ZoomText instals it's own video driver. On my system, this 
driver conflicts with the windows driver that comes with XP. I have to 
go into 'device manager' and under 'video' check to see how many drivers 
I have. Usually when I am having the problem, there are two drivers 
listed. I just select one and deactivate it then reboot. Now, unless you 
know what you are doing, I would ask ZT tech about the video drivers and 
have them take you to where they are. Tell them what is in there and if 
this is the problem, have them talk you through deactivating one of them
