Well, after one brief, shining evening of working fine, Win Explorer is now
back to running for a few seconds, then "not responding" ever after.
Whatever made it fail in the first place must have just been blocked
temporarily that one night. So now I'm back to a mostly-useless computer,
and may have to do the full system reboot after all, erasing all my files
and programs, in the vain hope the same thing won't happen again. Any ideas
would be gratefully appreciated. Remember, this is Windows Explorer, not
Internet Explorer that I'm referring to. Thanks to all.

Becky C.
