I think you should bring this problem url (plus any others) to the attention 
of FS.  Unfortunately, this just may be an artifact of Internet Explorer 8 
that FS need to fix.  (They don't yet 'support' Internet Explorer 8, or, 
they don't yet fully support it.  Support for live region updates and live 
region announcements was put out in JAWS before the release of IE8.  (Same 
can be said for the latest Firefox versions.)  (Anyone yet discovered if it 
is possible to keyboard navigate within Internet Explorer 8 between 'tabbed 
groups'?)  (What exactly are 'tabbed groups'?  Anyone read up on that?)

How do I make a webpage hold still long enough to read it?

Every once in a while, when I visit a webpage, it refreshes so often that I
can't read it without using ctrl+a, ctrl+c, and ctrl+v to select the
contents and copy them to a blank Word document.

With more recent versions of Jaws, I've been able to make the refreshing
stop by going into the verbosity options and turning off the auto refresh
and/or Flash Player recognize features in the Internet Explorer General
options tree view.

This week, I've encountered two blogs where that doesn't work. One of them
is here:

How can I stop the page, or why don't the usual solutions work?

I'm using Internet Explorer 8, XP, and Jaws 10.
