Actually, the most easy way to have the BCC field is to set it to always be
there. In the tools, Options, Email options dialogue boxes, you can check a
box which will always display the BCC field. So when you compose any email,
you always have the To: field, the CC: field, the BCC: field, and the
Subject: field available to either fill in or ignore.

IN fact a great way to forward stuff to a whole list of people without
cluttering up the header, and so that you don't give away everyone else's
email address, is to put your own address in the TO: field, and put the
forwarded addresses in the BCC: field thus hiding them from all recipients.

Penny and List:

The easiest way to get to the BCC field is to go into name look-up. To do
this in a new message is to Shift TAB at the To: edit field. Then press
enter. This will give you access to all the fields and your contact list.
Alt O will add a contact to the TO field, Alt C will add a contact to the CC
field and Alt B will add a contact to BCC. If you want to enter addresses
manually press Alt M then TAB between fields.

As for Thesaurus: In Outlook 2003 when you press Shift + F7 this opens the
Research task pane. You need to press F6 to switch frames so you can look
up a word.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Subject: [VICUG-L] The BCC Field in MS Outlook?

Dear List,

I spent an hour or so today trying to figure out, using WindowEyes
7.01 and Outlook 2003, how to make the BCC field appear. I never did
fitgure it out and finally had someone who could see the screen and use the
mouse set it up for me. Are there keyboard commands for doing this?

Also, when I'm in the message, I can access the Spell Checker with the F-7
key, but when I try to access the Thesaurus with Shift-F-7, I hear the word,
Thesaurus," spoken but cannot use it -- is there a way to turn it on in a
way that allows me to use it from the keyboard?

Thanks so much for your help.
Penny
