Chris, et al:
I forgot to mention:
In my previous instructions, the portion of the location reading "office11"
is valid only for Microsoft Office 2003. Use "office10" for office XP, and,
I believe, "office12" for office 2007.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Placing a shortcut to the outlook calendar on the desktop
Hello List:
A couple years ago I was shown how to place a shortcut to the outlook
calendar on my desktop. We are not interested in using outlook for email,
but we do find the calendar convenient. I can't, for the life of me,
remember how we did it. I went through the normal process of creating a
shortcut, and I can find the exe file for outlook no problem, but this
launches the entire outlook program, and I don't want that. Can anyone
assist me with this?
Thanks, Chris.
