The subject line covers it I think.  In putting together a new computer those are the choices I'm stuck with.

I understand that windows 7 will be coming out over the summer, and, most of the folks who have gone to vista haven't had a problem either.

Is it worth the extra money to go with a quad system considering that I'm going to want my machine to last a long time?  Thanks.
