I use Gmail with Outlook Express but also use it on the web from time to 
time.  Both ways work very well!  I believe there is even a Gmail tool that 
will configure your Outlook/Outlook Express for you.  I switched away from 
Hotmail because they started charging for POP access... boo hiss!
