Hello All,

I've come across a peculiar situation which seems to have no  
solution.  In this computer's inbox there were several hundred  
messages and suddenly, there were 12 and they were all unread.  This  
is with xp and all the latest updates.  The messages cannot be found  
anywhere.

Does anyone have any light they can shed here?  we don't want this to  
happen again.  We've examined the pc doing things such as looking for  
rules and views and all seems normal.
