Yes he is empathetic there is nothing wrong with Johnathan mentally.He just got his powerchair in December and is doing very well in school with it.He tkes it to and from school on the bus but as of right now can not use it in the home becuse it is not handicap equipped and the he runs into the walls. I am looking for a new home but it is tough right now.So I need a bigger home..lol. H e hs some independence and I love that. I am trying to potty train right now but that is hrd but we keep trying everyday.Thank You for your response,

Is Johnathan able to be empathetic with other people? I mean does he understand that other people can get hurt? How is his motor control? At five years old he might be ready for a pediatric powerchair I know you might not be ready to let him off your leash, but children need independence... From what you said, I gather mentally he is fine, his body isn't.
