I know you don't want to wait nearly a year to get help, but SHOUT a
nonprofit in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is planning to host their bi-annual
Pittsburgh Employment Conference with the focus on Employment: Overcoming
depression and loneliness, welcome to my world, next August.
For many information , their website is located at http://www.shoutaac.org/
This is mostly geared to individuals who use communication devices, but I
feel with that kind of topic they will make a few exceptions.
Thanks,

Subject: psychiatrists?
I actually do have a question. My sister has CP and I'm wondering if there
are any psychiatrists or psychologists that we can take her to for possible
depression. She's not only physically in a wheelchair, but she has trouble
communicating. Being so close to her, I can see her frustration sometimes
and, while she has a lot of patience and perseverance, it does get to her,
especially now that she's grown up. Is there some resource that we can look
into for that?
Thanks much,
Harleen
