with JAWS, very accessible.
It's not exactly a sound editor specifically.
Audacity is a freeware multi-track recorder and audio editer.
you can record and edit a nearly limitless number of tracks at once.
It has some decent onboard FX, and it a dream to use with jaws, even easier
then gold wave.
There are scripts for it somewhere, but I didn't find the need for them.
there is a great tutorial written up for jaws users and audacity online
somewhere, i'll try and find it and post the link to the group.
it goes through jaws specific commands and hotkeys built into audacity to
make life a little easier.
I use it to record live gigs and edit multi-track music recordings.
It's no pro tools or even sonar, but for free it most certainly gets the job
done and doesn't require a degree in computer science and engineer
psychology to figure out how to record, edit and use it.
