Oh I'd connect to an HF station across the country in a heartbeat.  What you 
lucky guys hear on the coasts is compared to what we hear in the Midwest, 
it's a totally different world.  You can work stuff from Florida with a wire 
and a QRP radio that you can't even hear up north with a 4 element beam and 
500 watts.
We really hate you coasters some times!!!
