Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome.

Buddy, I also didn't have a station for the first two or three months that I
was licensed.  I live in an apartment at the moment, so that complicates
things.  I have to endure with an indoor antenna and I operate low power so
I won't cause any grief to the neighbors (or myself, for that matter).
Still, it works for now, and that's what counts.

Eric, to answer your question, I am originally from Pennsylvania and
currently living in Maryland, but I have been an exchange student twice in
the past - once to Japan and once to Croatia.  I can tell you more about
that by email directly, if you're curious.
