Hi Don,
Windows comes bundled with Windows Defender.  It should be sufficient
as a good antimalware solution unless you believe your internet habits
require something different.  It is accessible and works quite
unobtrusively in the background.  You can also download Windows
Security Essentials from www.microsoft.com/securityessential as your
antivirus solution.  It is quite accessible and works as
unobtrusively.  you hsould try these two before purchasing other
solutions.  both of these are free.
