These fonts should have been installed as part of Vista.

It may seem strange, but the availability of fonts can also be
affected by what printer you have installed or are using as the
default in an application.

For example, let us suppose that you only have a Generic/Text Only
printer installed, you will find that you choice of available fonts in
Microsoft Office is just about nil.  Same if you had installed some
types of old dot matrix printer.

hi.
just looked at my fonts.
need the following fonts:

arial, helvitica, sans-serif and verdana.
do not have these fonts for windows vista.
think that was the problem, why not saying the name.
can you help?
where do i get these free fonts from?
