Hi all,
I'm using an asus laptop, running jaws for windows 9.0, running windows xp home edition.
I was listening to a computer show here at work, because I had to get caught up on these shows, and they mentioned you could use microsoft word, (any version), to, are you all ready for this? How about browse the internet!
So, I launched word, then pressed control o to open a new document in word, like it said to do, then, for the heck of it, I typed www.acb.org
and pressed enter, and I'll be darned if the web page didn't come up! So, I just read down the web page in word!
Anyway folks, if you never have tried it, give it a try, it will freak ya out!
Now I didn't try clicking on a link, but who knows, you might just be able to click on links as well!
I wonder if this could be usable as a browser if internet explorer or fire fox ever go down?
Harry
