I've got an antenna in mind for hf. basically it's a 12:1 enductor with 
a length of wire on it.
it's called the oziwire. there's a group over here that sell the thing 
in kit form, and apparently, a white stick should have no trouble 
building it.

I already have a tv mast up so that might not even be an issue.
I'll see how things play out.
