doesn't the bird 43 have some sort of digital or serial port data output? or
is that only available on the newer bird products?  If so, i'm sure that
data could be dumped into a pack mate, Braille lite or other speech/braille
device and output in a format that would be decipherable.
They must have scopes and high end meters now that allow you to interface
with a PC or other computer system to obtain graphs and readouts on the
monitor?
