My mother-in-law gave me a Christmas Longenberger (sp?) basket for Christmas,
which is a perfect size for a package of rice cakes, peanut butter, and a
couple of other things for an overnight trip. Even though I'm 38, it still
helps give me a bit of a boost to have my "special food" in a "decorated box".
By the way, I had my family over for Christmas dinner this year, the first
time I've ever cooked a turkey. I was highly praised by everyone, and I knew
all the food was safe. My bean flour chocolate chip cookies (using Authentic
Foods pancake mix) were scarfed up by my nephews!
After my family left, my husband and I went to his parents' house, armed with
my pretty basket and my GF cookies. I think they're starting to really wonder
about me, baking cookies with bean flour!
To be honest, I like these cookies better than the "real" ones I used to make.
Hope everyone's Christmas went as well, and Happy New Year!
