I saved this piece of info & thought it might be helpful to pass on to
those of you who are looking for better value for your on-line dollars:
"use a web browser to check out:
http://thelist.com/your area code.html
substituting your actual area code for "your area code" This will give a
list of providers, their rates & contact info. "
Also, check your yellow pages for internet providers...look under the
computer classifications as well as "internet"...I don't think my directory
company uses the internet class head, but they might cross-reference back
to the appropriate category.
We are disadvantaged enough. I personally don't think it is moral or
ethical for any one to profit from our disabilities--even if it is to
share a joke with our comrades. If you can get
cheaper internet connect service from somewhere other than a name-brand
provider, go for it!
And if you don't have a web browser, let us help you.
