(6) Red Star Yeast says GF on the package/jar. Red Star has
excellent gluten free bread recipes. There website address is
<http://www.redstaryeast.com/>http://www.redstaryeast.com/ Just look
in "Carol's Cupboard."
(5) Fleischmann's is also g.f. is the US.
(2) Bob's Red Mill Active Dry Yeast is gluten free
(1) GF bread mixes, they all have yeast
(2) All yeasts in supermarkets are GF, except some special brewers ones
(1) All the major brands of baking yeast available in the US are
gluten free. The yeast that can be a problem is a by-product of beer
making and is usually listed as brewer's yeast. I think this is
sometimes used in the yeast that is used as a supplement.
