Subject: Information on computer classes

Dear Mr. Campbell,

My name is Jennifer Everhart; I work as a physical therapist for CBM (formerly Christian Blind Mission) in Niger, West Africa. Your address was sent to me by the Hadley School for Blind.

I am writing on behalf of the president of our rehabilitation project, Mr. Diofo. Mr. Diofo is also the president of Nigerien Association for the Blind and the Interim President of the Association for the Blind of Francophone West Africa. He has asked for my assistance in finding classes in which he can learn computer basics. Most of the classes that I have found are on-line and he lacks the basic computer skills needed to enroll. He feels his best option would be an intensive in-class setting for 4-6 weeks where he can learn the basics and continue afterward with on-line courses in Niger.

I was wondering if you are aware of any computer training for the blind that would suite Mr. Diofo's needs? If you are aware of any intensive campus-based computer classes that would be available to a foreign student, could you provide me information on enrollment, tuition, and housing? Mr. Diofo if open to go anywhere in the world, but has made the request that the training be in English.

Thank you in advance for any assistance/suggestions you are able to provide.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Eimers Everhart
