Hi all,
Well, today, I took probably, the biggest risk I ever took with computers, at least with jaws for windows.
I downloaded the thumb drive version of jaws 9.0 to my thumb drive, then, I downloaded the dcm video intercept driver to my thumb drive.
Then, I installed jaws 9.0 only, not the dcm video intercept driver, on my thumb drive, because my client already has the jaws for windows video intercept driver on his computer's hard drive.
Then, I said, "what the heck, let's go over to his place and see what happens, let's see if it will work better than 4.50, or not.
So, I went over there, and plugged in the thumb drive, then I pressed the windows key and the letter r, and typed f:\JAWS90
and pressed enter, and I'll be darned if it didn't come up talking alright, I mean everything talked, every key stroke, and the complete name of each file in his file folder.
He will have to wait 2 months though, because I have no money to buy him jaws 9.0.
So, just wanted to let you all know, it was a jaws issue.
Harry
